Well, if the fractions were left to sort themselves out to the lowest common denominator, the R's would probably look like the antithetical to Pelosi's house. Remember, she purged all the moderate Ds with the Obamacare votes. Imagine she, and a majority of D voters, consider it a vast improvement.

Boehner's tendered a surprise... to me anyway. While I've slandered him for the strange tan more than one or two times, he's always seemed like a pretty decent guy. Maybe it's because he reminds me so strongly of Dean Martin.
Not much of eye for an eye kind of conservative which is not exactly what I wish we would have had in that spot over the terms of our sitting president.
