Well, if the fractions were left to sort themselves out to the lowest common denominator, the R's would probably look like the antithetical to Pelosi's house. Remember, she purged all the moderate Ds with the Obamacare votes. Imagine she, and a majority of D voters, consider it a vast improvement.

Intra-party squabbles are like family fights. Ones that end in someone being disinherited, not being welcomed back.

He tried. He tried hard from my meager understanding of the Speaker of the House. Although his party had a Majority, he was the Speaker of the entire House.

One of these days, just hope the Ds would all abstain and let the fractions amongst themselves solve their diffe

Boehner's tendered a surprise... to me anyway. While I've slandered him for the strange tan more than one or two times, he's always seemed like a pretty decent guy. Maybe it's because he reminds me so strongly of Dean Martin.

Not much of eye for an eye kind of conservative which is not exactly what I wish we would have had in that spot over the terms of our sitting president. Scurrilous rumors that Democrats had the goods on him - for something shameful or even illegal - aside, I wish him, his leaking eyes and cigs.... yes, even his tan... well. Bound to be a sustenance level salary somewhere out there for him in the lobbying profession.
