You could have thin enamel, a leaky filling, a carie, receding gum lines (me).  A simple aspirin like or acetaminohen works for me.

Never been much of a sweets guy, but I often get chocolate craves. I won't make a special trip but if I get a crave, I'll buy the Snickers or stop at See's (Buffett is fiendishly evil, he'll take my last dollar without remorse).

I made 2 blueberry pies, mom got 1 slice, I got the rest. One BB pie to go. evileye

That stinks. Though most of us feel the pain on our hips and stomachs a day or so later, and it lasts longer. So maybe that's a blessing.

I have stuff that my dentist gave me. It's some borderline prescription stuff. It helps, but the pain deters me even when it probably won't hurt anymore.

It may have been done, but it's true nonetheless. Junior is the one who is small minded, not Grammie.

Oh yeah, I'm all in for the cream cheese frosting. Tell the truth, I don't crave sweets anymore like I used to, I take alpha lipoic supplements and sometimes chromium. Barely even want it. Okay, I want it a little, but not crazy want it like I used to.

Well, romani, no reason to try to eat sweets. Nothing good about that anyways. But have you tried sensodyne toothpaste? I'm sure there are other things out there that will help your sensitivity, but then again no reason to make it easy to eat crap, I guess.

I like the cake more, too. Unless its cream cheese frosting. Then all bets are off!

^ I do that already with cake. I have friends that eat the frosting, I eat the cake (cupcakes, too). For some reason, people always wanted to sit next to me at birthday parties when I was little. At the time, I thought it was because they liked me lmao.

You really need a BFF that will take the caramel off your hands and take one for the team. You eat the ice cream, they eat the caramel.

Ohh, bd. You don't know how much I wish I could. I've always had super sensitive teeth. The pain shoots straight through my jaw whenever I eat most super sweet things (caramel, starbursts, etc). If anyone knows how to cure that, I'm all ears! lol

I initially thought ewww...even when I looked at it, but after reading the ingredients, yep I'm good with that. Take a couple of aspirin and take a bite! You can't live without caramel.

Lol. I said that before reading it *sheepish smile*.

Aside from the fact that caramel hurts my teeth, it doesn't look half bad.

Well now, it would be disturbing if it was a real turkey, but......(saying in Homer Simpson's voice when he's talking about beer)....caramel.....ice cream......

Yum!

Nah, dead animals are tasty. Don't think I'd eat live ones, or raw ones though.

I'll take a tasty turkey and a juicy steak on the same plate, thank you very much!

Yes, but they both should have the same right to be eaten although you would not see me eating either of them. Dead animals are gross.

Junior: “Grammie, will you please pass the steak?”

Grammie: “I’m sorry Junior, we have only turkey. We have no steak.”

Junior (rolling eyes): “Grammie. Really. The meat on that plate is awesome. It is flavorful. It is nutritious. It is every bit the equal of steak. Why should that meat have to sit in the back of the bus, under the derogatory name of ‘Turkey?’ It shouldn’t. In fact, including meat from birds in the definition of meat from cows broadens the definition of steak. It enhances it. It improves it. It makes steak BETTER, not worse.”

Grammie (patiently): “I see your point. And you’re right. Both kinds of meat can be part of successful, fulfilling lives. But this is Turkey. It’s not steak. They’re different things. They’re different animals. Words mean things. Turkey means bird, steak means cow. Saying that they’re the same is simply not true. And, contrary to your suggestion, interchanging or combining them into a single idea helps neither of them. In fact, it ruins the idea of both of them. They’re different things. Each deserves respect for what it brings to the table. Calling them the same thing fails to do that. In fact, it obscures the distinct yet diverse benefits of each. ”

Junior (angrily): “What is wrong with you? Why are you such a hater? What are you so afraid of? What are you, a steakophobe? You’re a bigot. That’s what you are. You’re no better than the people who defended slavery. You’re backward. You’re on the wrong side of history. And one day people like you will be right there with slave owners and the rest of the bigots on the ash heap of history. You’ll see.

My view is inclusive, tolerant, and diverse. My view makes the world better. Your view is abusive, intolerant, bigoted. Your view makes the world worse. I’m right. You’re wrong. And that’s all there is to it. How can you be so narrow minded?

You know what I’m gonna do? I’m going to start a national movement. I’m going to get enough votes to FORCE you to include bird meat in the definition of steak. And because I’m right and you’re wrong I’m going to MAKE you see things my way, and even if you don’t see them my way, at least the law will FORCE you to act as if you do. That’s what you get for being so increadibly narrow minded. That’s what you get for failing to be inclusive, and tolerant, and open minded, like I am.”

Grammie (sadly): “All he had to do was call it Turkey, and respect the definition of steak, and I would have passed it, and gladly.”
