I haven't seen that video, put please, please, please tell me that the kids who felt he should have a teleprompter were not Govt majors!
If they are, than as a parent, I would wonder what they are teaching there at UWisc. If I lived in Wisc I would wonder how my state tax payer dollars are being spent at their college. If a state college (assuming it is state) isn't teaching them how debates work from a Govt election perspective and it costs 50, 75, 100K to attend, wouldn't you have an issue with the school if this is what kids are thinking as Govt majors?
Their concern appears to be more about letting Obama shine, and less about substance from a political stance.
OBTW, I agree the altitude comment was not only comical, but insanely sad as a defense. They didn't do the debate like Amazing Race or Survivor...run an 8K, get to the podium and you get an edge. He flew his AF1 jet with a nice bedroom to rest, all he had to do was stand behind a podium without a teleprompter.
