While it is illegal to deface currency - even with a signature of the US President - it isn't enforced. I wonder if he does sign it?

I didn't think of that...he probably does carry cash and signs the bill. Snap with a picture and that person has a great keepsake...that is if they are Obama fans!

I am not begrudging the man, but I have to wonder why he feels the need to carry that much cash in his wallet? Maybe he buys for everyone on the bus, I don't know. I also do wonder does he tell the campaign bus driver to stop at the ATM. That would be a neat picture...Obama at the ATM hanging out the window trying to get the money out of the ATM.

This is just a fun thread. Just curious of how do you think he gets the cash. Does he walk into the bank and have to show i.d.? Maybe when Michelle stops at Target she gets cash back?

I just never thought about the President with a wad of cash on hand at any given moment.

I think that's cool.

Imagine as a business owner/service person, that I would get paid in cash, from the President. No, 2.5% bank service charges.

Really, its cool. I hope one of the bills that I received, is small enough that I can actually have it signed and dated by any President.
