But wait!

There's more!

Obama campaigned on changing the tone in Washington. Now he says Washington Can't Be Changed From 'Inside' and the tone is arguably worse than ever, and easily much worse than it was when he took office.

Oh, and this: As Carney Says 'Terrorist Attack,' Obama Still Cites Anti-Islam Film

really - other than gay marriage, please explain.

really - you need an explanation?

Close down gitmo. Never mind.
Try terrorists in NYC. Never mind.

•Voted against increasing the debt limit; then supported raising it.
•Campaigned against the Bush tax cuts; then extended all of them.
•Promised to cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term; then proposed trillion dollar deficits.
•Vowed the unemployment rate would be below 8% if his stimulus was passed; but then it broke 10%.
•Promised shovel ready jobs; then admitted they weren’t shovel ready.
•Said if you like your health plan you can keep it; but then threw seniors off Medicare Plus and employers are now saying they’ll dump people onto the public exchange.
•Promised to have health care negotiations on live TV, but then reversed himself.
•Indicated Bush violated the Constitution; then carried out warrantless wiretaps, indefinite detentions, secret renditions, quadrupled drone attacks, and kept Guantanamo Bay open. Voted against the Patriot Act, but then supported its extension.
•Said lobbyists wouldn’t work in the White House; then gave them waivers to work there.
•Vowed to take public financing for his 2008 campaign; then refused public financing when he realized he would receive more money without it.

I remember in high school I had a classmate who was LDS and we had a group film project. We could film in his ward church, and I have been to it later for social gatherings with current LDS members. Can't go into sacred part of temple in Lis Angeles, but could go there for genealogy center if doing family research. Every religion has quirkiness, LDS is not an exception. At least their extremists, unlike others aren't killing people, to promote their faithfulness. .

I remember it well, when it was going up in '74. The Temple is closed to all non-vetted LDS people. My neighbor couldn't even view his daughter's wedding in the Temple-had to meet the couple outside.

The big question is how fast can Mitt change his positions?

Nowhere near as fast as Obama.

this should get more air time.

But is MR throwing out a dead dog to the electorate? Is he just throwing this out because it is good for the LDS and he is and will be a Mormon after being President and he knows that the R Majority House and filibustered Senate will never reform immigration. -well maybe they will, a very slim maybe.

Speaking of LDS.

Here's the Mormon Temple near D.C. as seen from the beltway.

The second bridge in the photo, partly obscured by the closest bridge, once had graffiti painted on it; one letter in each of the "squares" on the bridge above the lanes the photo was taken from, spelling out...

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-romney-latinos-20120920,0,3459768.story

CORAL GABLES, Fla. — Mitt Romney sought to assuage Latino voters Wednesday, downplaying positions he took on immigration during the GOP primaries, vowing to seek a bipartisan solution and castigating President Obama for failing to keep promises he made to the fast-growing population segment. Obama "said in the first year, among his highest priorities would be to fix the immigration system. But he never even filed a bill," Romney said. "So it's time to put politics aside, and I will actually fix the immigration system and make it work for the people of America.

"Romney spoke at a Univision forum at the University of Miami; Obama is scheduled to appear Thursday. Later, Romney rallied thousands of Latinos at a raucous "Juntos con Romney" nighttime event. Salsa musicians sang his name, and he was introduced by his son Craig, a fluent Spanish speaker. Romney listed several star Latino politicians who are Republicans, and urged Latinos to join them. "This party is the natural home for Hispanic Americans," he said to cheers. "Because this is the party of opportunity and hope. Ours is the party that will bring a brighter future. Ours is the party of greatness. This is why Hispanic Americans are going to join this campaign. We're going to win because we're going to get the support of you and your friends."

                       *****************************************************

WTF:  A 180 turn in the home stretch.  I wonder why he/R's are not going after the Asian and Eastern European undocumented?

A Note:  Latinos are the fastest growing segment of the LDS Church. Latinos are also part of the chosen people (Native Americans/FirstNation)
