I really can't think why I need a Smart phone. My kindle works good enough. If I need something fast, there is always a McD or BK close enough to log on?

Once you have one, you won't know how you ever did without it. It's a luxury, no doubt, but if you can afford it (and it seems you can, lp) you won't regret it.
DS is going to get an Iphone5, company provides and will pay costs (Verizon network). He has Iphone4 that is on ATT and for which he volunteered to pay for us to switch from Verizon and pay for family plan.
Should he keep his I4 and ATT network? along with his new I5? We will remain on ATT family plan.
Should he give us the I4 and we remain on ATT?. We do not have currently, ATT smart/data phones, just simple voice phones. ATT voice network is bad were we live with constant dropped calls, although last 6 months ATT is improving.
Verizon has always treated us well and has rarely dropped our calls. I want to go back to Verizon, forget any Smart phones, and just use voice.
Real Q: Do you feel that your really need a smart phone?
