I was waiting to see when they would be smart enough to tie Obama to Carter.
I think it is smart because the age group that they can count on more for coming to the polls are people in the 45-64 yr group, all of them remember Carter yrs. The only difference really during their presidencies is we have mtgs at a 4% int. rate and not 18%.
Gas prices are up, unemployment is 42 months at the same level, and although interest rates are down the emotional tie to housing exists in a different way regarding foreclosures and under waterhomeowners.
I am still waiting for that commercial where he says if we are above 8% in 3 yrs., than I don't deserve a 2nd term.
