I just joined, and I have a question. The sticky thread at the top of the home page says that any discussions of CC have to be in the Private forum. What does that mean?
I have a question about multiple identities being against the TOS on CC. Other people do it and are not shut down! They'll start a thread and say something like, "I'm a longtime poster who is now posting under a different identity for privacy reasons"....and it stands.
So it doesn't seem to be a hard and fast rule at all. I guess it depends on who does it and why.

Hi everyone. I'm happy to be here. I was one of the posters enjoying the Online dating thread on CC and I was sad when it was closed. It was interesting to hear about the events in the immediate aftermath.

"she has two kids at *deleted name of college at request of poster"
Hmm, then I probably would know who she is (online persona), but as another name. Wish I would have followed the thread, it sounded like it got interesting. I guess we all just enjoy making trouble around here, don't we!

she did.
hope she will be ok.
many of us have taken or will take her path.
as for xiggi, it was me who likes tripe .
sometimes he gets to a real ah.
I also hit the "report problem post" for being political.
I also reported terwitt, super moderator, for starting a thread on insurance, again being politcal.
I checked that too, longprime. Weird how those deleted posts didn't show up on boardreader, but the thread is still available. I wonder if SAT saved those posts. When xiggi posted his tripe post last night, he deleted posts back a few days. Right after he made that post a few posters responded. One poster said something to the effect of "One man's tripe is another man's caviar". (It might not have been caviar, but it was something similar.)
Something about internet dating. The thread didn't interest me so I really didn't look through it. Last night, it was "sent" to a different forum (according to the symbol by it), but when you clicked on it, it didn't exist.
She then got a new name this morning and started a new thread (2, that I saw). The first was a copy and paste of much of the old thread (which quickly went poof) and the other one was called something like "Internet dating- the G rated version" which also subsequently went poof.
It is very easy to copy and paste things from CC, if one cared about doing that.
It's extremely confusing to post something like this thread without any context - unless everyone was there on that thread. I have no idea what thread it was, even. Anyone care to enlighten the rest of us?
longprime, I saw that whole thing too, very interesting lol. She posted again this morning under a new name, and actually, *gasp*, discussed the existence of mods and editing. I expect she will be sent to purgatory today, or maybe even eternal damnation if she keeps it up.
I've always wanted to use that vampire face, just never had the right moment.
I saw xiggi's post last night in the thread just before he (I'm guessing) zapped it. I think he called it tripe, and said it didn't belong,..etc. I wasn't following it closely, but I'm pretty sure soozie and another mod or two were making comments/suggestiongs to *deleted name*.

in a pm in CC, she said that she asked the current CC God, "why" was the thread gone. that of course got her permanently banned in current carnation.
no idea why thread vanish. God said something about keeping thread G rated. She was exploring new territory in personal relationships other than just juvenvile-college relationships.
