Krugman is a fake economist. Krugman determines what his personal political preferences are and then finds economics to support his positions. Real economists look at data and draw conclusions from the data. Those conclusions may or may not agree with their political preferences.
Don't know - are there formal rules for that sort of thing?
His blog posts definitely have a closer to the bone kind of savagery to them than the formal NYT opinion pieces... remember the one where he blamed Giffords on Republicans?
Can you call it a column when it is just a few paragraphs?
I have to laugh because the Drudge has a link "Rumsfeld cancel's subscription". What I find funny is that I never imagined Rummy tweeting and it is Rummy's tweet!
