1. Weiner announces he is going to resign
2. Pelosi is scheduled for weekly press conference
3. All cable news stations go live to Pelosi
4. Pelosi says she is going to talk about jobs / the economy, not Weiner (her office will have a statement later)
5. All cable news stations cut away
This is a pretty sad depiction of what all the cable news stations think (probably accurately) that Americans are most interested in.
