Administration Mulls Syrian Sanctions

Crush by any means necessary:

I guess the Syrian rulers aren't evil enough to warrent action. Or their bribes to appropriate officials are current and paid up.

Aren't they part of the Arab League that asked the UN to whack Libya?

Where's the change? Washington still looks like the "same old, same old". Except now we lack the economic power and influence to make sanctions "bite".

How are the Iranian sanctions "biting"?

Who is hurt more by sanctions? Us or them?

Anybody with cash or commodities can get goods from China, even goods manufactured by nominally American companies. We are irrelevent, a consumer rather than a producer nation, a mark to be fleeced by both our own elites and foreigners.

Iran was the last nation we were able to weaken with sanctions.

"That dog won't hunt" anymore.

There isn't enough lipstick on Earth for that pig.
