So are the unbrained-washed Americans gonna do the liberating or will the brained-washed Americans do the NK (name country) cleansing?

USA has been giving NK food since Bill's appeasement. At some point either USA will either say enough or the NK will go nuclear or giveup. China, SK, and Japan will have much to lose and even more to gain if they can solve their mutual problem.

They are too well brainwashed for revolution.

The NK's are not piss'd off enough to die for a revolution. They would rather die a slow death. The NK leaders aren't leading people but lemmings. Those who are smart have left the country. evileye

Okay, I don't believe in "let them starve."

However, the north Koreans border China.  Let China and Russia deal with them.  As long as we continually run around the world inserting ourselves in other people's countries?  we are never going to fix the job problem here, and when 10%, or more of our own population CANT find work, we really ought to worry about them starving first.

The North Koren leadership spins food aid as justly deserved tribute from inferior societies secured by the "Beloved Leader".

GENERATIONS of brainwashing applied to an entire country may not be reversible.

I am good with my "feed them and kill the ones that poke their heads out of their hellhole of a country".

Any attack on South Korea should be met with a demonstration of real nuclear weapons.

I betcha we would only have to use one small tactical nuke to cow the leadership, or kill them.

Of course Russia, China, etc. would deplore the act all over the place.

We been deplored.

Doesn't hurt.

Maybe the North Korean people will not be inclined to bite the hands that feed them, and perhaps those hands should be ours.  A starving nation with nuclear weapons is a seriously unstable and dangerous nation.  If they are facing cataclysmic losses, they may be inclined to inflict cataclysms on a world that won't lift a finger to help them.  The leaders of the country are guilty ideological, political, and moral bankruptcy, not the babies of starving peasants.  The leaders are presumably not among the quarter of the people presently starving.  As Mel Brooks said, "it's good to be king!"

I think we should feed them all, army included. and kill the ones we don't like.

I am worried about losing our technological lead in weaponry due to the declining economy.

A quarter of North Korea’s 24m people are starving and the public food distribution system could run dry as early as May, the UN has concluded.  

Friday’s warning of an impending food crisis poses a dilemma for South Korea and western nations, which have argued that Pyongyang could be exaggerating its needs to extract aid which could be channelled to the army.

As far as I am concerned, I say let them starve.  The North Korean population is brainwashed since birth.  We could not save them if we wanted to.  If we kill the dear leader, they will never forgive us.  If mass starvation does not bring down that horrible regime, I don't know what will.
