How about the government leaves us alone and legalizes it for all those above 17 rather than 70. This is just dumb. We have some of the highest violent crime rates in the industrialized world and we choose to bust a senior citizen for 6 ounces of weed? This doesn't make any sense. Focus on the real problem- and Willie Nelson wanting to relax is NOT the real problem. Oy vey.

And for those of you who say that his habit is what's fueling said violent crime rates- I've got a decent amount of money that says he isn't buying weed from Mexico or shady dealers.

Ah well.

There are some dangers to MJ for some people and perhaps it impairs judgements for some operations. If you're over 70, does that really matter that much? Perhaps it does for driving but we could just use the DUI laws to cover that.

Make it legal for those 70 and over.
Kids would have much more interesting fake IDs.
