It's understandable. Conservatives are nasty, women-hating, xenophobic, racist, bigoted, homophobic, Mother Earth-destroying, religious zealots who want to deny poor people healthcare and don't support public education. Who would want to post here if there is the slightest chance there are a couple of those hanging around?  Too scary.

Heart of hearts, or public?

This forum's free to post on, free to vent about how it's GW's fault, Limbaugh's fault, the fault of obstructionist republicans in general. That even the lawyers, of which there's a multitude, don't chip in to rationalize things suggests it's pretty dismal on both counts.

It's a shame there's no more political forum on cc.  I'm curious as to what the current level of support is for this administration.

I can't decide whether the word for the day should be: Obola or Ebama or malaise:
On every single issue of importance, when there are challenges and there are opportunities around the world, it's not Moscow they call; it’s not Beijing. They call us. Because they understand that for all the challenges we sometimes face and the mistakes that we occasionally make, that America continues to be the one indispensable nation -- (applause) -- and that what we stand for –-- liberty and democracy and conservation and fairness and justice -- those are the things that people around the world aspire to and seek, and they expect the United States to be on their side.
The man's drifting like a eggshell boat. Panetta's out there weeing all over his record and he's working 'conservation' and 'fairness' into a list of reasons why he has to pick up the phone.

I've always been found of saying "I'm doing better than I deserve" but I think I'm gonna drop that one for a year or so.

Not that he's actually voiced the above, but Hilary has worn that Benghazi steak around her neck on a string so well.

All those old soundbytes about terrorists being on the run. The decision that was his alone, to pull out of Iraq. The GW inspired braggadocio about a "JV" team being beneath the royal notice. And now, he's blaming Clapper and every other intel agent for things going to chit on his watch.

Gotta say: the people that elected this maroon deserve all the self-concious embarrassment they're surely suffering at the moment.
