Sorry, I missed this thread, been working way too much. Little doggie is doing just fine, she's snoring away right now. I, however, am a little freaked out about taking them for a walk again. I need to get a weapon, be it pepper spray or an air horn, or stun gun, and get over it. My dogs are getting fat.

The police, apparently, won't respond even if a dog attacked a human....if that person is no longer in danger. But the good news is, that animal control took the report and it sounds like they are following up on it. I was impressed that they called me the next day and said to put in a more detailed written report. We'll see what happens.

"DW was attack twice by a dog. I told neighbor that they had a beautiful house (indoor pool, he's a builder) and that should protect it. I also took to carrying a golf putter or a large, sturdy umbrella when we had wet weather. I think they got the message."

I would file a police report, animal control report, and the second time....actually called the lawyer. That's BS, people shouldn't allow their vicious dogs loose to intimidate people and other dogs.

Infirmaries are medical care facilities.

Infirmities are when body functions or parts don't work so hot.

It's different when a person is attacked from when another dog is attacked. It looks like the cops in her area don't care if a dog attacks another dog. I don't think that is true everywhere.

When we used to walk, before our infirmaries became unbearable and before our responsibilities to our parents,  DW was attack twice by a dog. I told neighbor that they had a beautiful house (indoor pool, he's a builder) and that should protect it. I also took to carrying a golf putter or a large, sturdy umbrella when we had wet weather. I think they got the message.

We also carry a prepaid legal plan. Made a report to them for documentation.
