Actually, Is he is trying to save the rain forest by not using latex rubber? Or just being nice to his partner by avoiding BCP.

National Coffee Day, Sept 29. Free Coffee.

Was the headline that caught me. Further reading said DunkinDonuts (which really does have the best coffee, IMO) will be giving out a free cup of coffee. Starbucks is going to do the same with their introduction to single country/sourced, Ethiopian Coffee.

However, today 9/29, my trip to Starbuck-Safeway thought it was for tomorrow, and had to grind and brew a batch. I only got a sample cup. So I decided to go to a company store and the serving barista didn't know anything about it other than they were serving Ethiopian Coffee (not pushing it) but another barista did know about the free ceramic cup with purchase of 1# bag. I did get a sample.

So when I got back, I just had to do the search on Starbuck's offer. Apparently the original reporters got the info wrong and new reports only say free sampling at Starbucks.

Pluses for Starbuck for catching reportering error. Minus for Starbuck for not coordinating their outlets for this promotion.

I have no stock in SBUX.
