I got CNBC on from 6:30am to 4:00pm (PDT). I'm kinda neutral today at 7:55am but Wed and Thurs, I was kinda pissed. Today is however Friday, and our locally owned grocer will have a wine sampling table, and If I am lucky, the liquor store will be offering a taste of something frilly.
What's wrong with this country that doubling the minimum wage won't fix? Well, that and making legal a few things that weren't, five years ago.
Put the haterade down for a moment and just see, for instance, what we help accomplish when we... umm, just get out of the damn way.
I mean, just think about it: we've made sooo much progress, for instance, on free energy from the sun, the wind, biomass, etc.... ever since we started making reasonable investments. And that right there, all by its self, is an airtight case for scaling up and out the time proven model of considered and careful spending by our selfless public servants. Said servants, unlike the few profit-obsessed Ayn Rand capitalists you might still find griping and sulking on an internet message board, know that the proper place for the worthy destination is right where it's always been found: in front of, not after, a tedious old journey.
