The guys were wimpy chimps. Hard to believe that they taught survivor skills. Out of shape for the challenge, Outdoor skills lacking (no hats for the sun-no shoes for the soles-no protection for the fun), and complained constantly. I expected the women to depend on the male for muscle and along with the brawn, some mental iron and stamina. Don't know if it was the editing for men acted like a pile of crapo
I have watched some of the episodes as well. I agree with you for the most part. I got interested in the first show because one of the producers was bitten by a snake that started destroying part of the flesh of his foot. It was pretty scary. I was sort of surprised the guy wasn't standing at attention given the pretty 20 something naked girl he was with.
A Male and Female, survivalist instructors are dumped in a wilderness situation without clothing and maybe one survival article.
As a reality show, it is pretty interesting. The blanking of breasts and genitals is annoying and I find the fact that the participants seem to have them swinging/showing for the entire 21 days in the wilderness. The second issue I have is that they make no effort to make feet protection. The third, the male comes off initially as macho, then within a week shows that he is wimp, and by the end of the second week shows that he can be man with the encouragement of the female.
