I am glad the military ousted the democratically elected president. Once he assumed power he acted like a dictator and denying right to the minority voices. We don't need another military state in the middle east even if it is duly elected.
They essentially threw away their Constitution (may have been flawed) and forced out a duly elected President by military force. A precedent has been established in Egypt. Ultimately the questions comes back to the USA: Is this a precedent that USA should promote in the name of a Constitutional Government? Does USA want another Power Vacuum in the MidEast? Will the newer new government be a Consitutional, Democratic, and with Universal Suffrage?
we have seen and promoted revolutionary and coupes (?) in South America, MidEast. & SE Asia, Most and maybe all of them benefited a few fat cats and politicians but screwed the locals, US soldiers and both economies.
Is McCain, going on another fact finding mission?
