Hah. If this was CC, he'd be way, way overcooked by now.
In the real world? That would depend on whether he keeps saying the wrong things, and in venues that reach too many subsceptible ears. What I read was that he intended to do just that so I'd suggest he give Clarence Thomas a call - now - and start the commiserating.
Ah, yes, our President is so open to questions, so unscripted, and his administration so transparent.
i've gone beyond chill now. Every time I hear the President of the United States speak I get an attack of inner giggles. The SOTU was a giggle-fest. "They deserve a vote!!" Obama as President and his obsequious press following has made daily life in the U.S. surreal.
Good for Carson and above all, good for PBO. Good for USA, too.
Do you remember our last President--Everything scripted, in secure locations, with a compliant audience, and in some cases, plants/ringers to pose soft questions.
I noticed today that Cal Thomas said they were inappropriate given the venue, which rang pretty much in pitch with a few other pieces from the usual suspects but offensive is the word they chose.
I thought they were pretty darn well on point, myself - reminded me of our president schooling the Justices on just how dangerous they were to a free society, back when they still bothered to come and listen to him talk.
