As a jersey girl, I get what you are saying, but c'mon, you are an R, not a D. This was free concert, and if you were a D are you telling me you wouldn't go?
Heck, I would go, I would also leave as soon as he was done singing, but I have a sneaky feeling I would have had to sit through PBO 1st, and that would be why I wouldn't go, which leaves me with the question is that why only 18K showed up...they weren't willing to sit through the political speech to hear Bruce live?
I don't know who feels their ego deflated more Bruce or PBO?
Bruce because he didn't sell out a stadium? Obama because Kerry did by 4 times and still lost the election?
The Boss was a bust, Redskins lost their home game, MR has to feel pretty good. I still think he (MR) will win the popular, but lose electoral, and in the end PBO has to worry now about his 2nd term. That all time high he had on inauguration day in 08 will not be there. Nor will the 1st 100 days of grace period. Blood will be in the waters on Nov 7th. if he wins, and it will start with getting sequestration done now!

I have seen Springsteen in 18,000 seat venues, and 90,000 seat venues.
I have stood in line 10 hours trying to score tickets.
I owned every album he ever made, all the way up to when he got political in early 2000's.
Now if someone would give me front row tickets to see him, I would sell the tix on stubhub. I liked him because he wasn't political. When he got vocal and was such a freaking hypocrite about it, that was all I could take.
Now if it was held in NJ today after the hurricane, I would get that, but it was held in Wisconsin. In 04 when it was Kerry The Boss pulled in 70K. in 12 it was 18K.
Have to ask why so many didn't turn out for a free concert by one of the greats!
