Said it before and will say it again. 1K service members died between 2001 and 2011. 1K died in the last yr., 20 a week.. This is Obama's administration. He is the Commander in Chief.
Maybe he should have not announced rthe time frame for when we were leaving?!?
Maybe the insurgents saw that this was the time to strike regarding the Middle East.

He did not have those soldiers protected. They entered wearing US Army uniforms. They didn't die in the sky, being shot down, they died on base/post.
That the Taliban got in illustrates how he lost sight of the Taliban.
I agree Afghanistan is a quagmire, but if than my question to you is why PBO doesn't call it a day and bring our troops home, as in yesterday.
1K died in a yr. He has told the world we are out of there by X date. Why risk another American life? Leave now. Why should he place our troops in harms way when we are going to be out of there soon enough anyway?
OBTW please don't do the logistics of getting them out. AF C-130. C-5s can be there in 48 hrs just like they did back with Gulf I. They don't want us there, so politically, he should say FINE I will take my toys and go home now.
You missed the point. Their deaths are tied to his direction when it comes to the military. He is not blameless, just like Bush.
