172 licensed brewers, brew pubs, and distillers for a population of 3.871million of all ages. Wineries are not included. in that number. If you count the number of deceased Jews who were converted to the LDS faith after their passing and assumed consent., we are a bit more. We have a very sizable LDS. SeventhDayAdvent. Jehovah's Witness. and growing Muslim communities so that the true number of happy people is considerably smaller. ------ which means, All the more for me.biggrin

Please click on that link to see more. Los Angeles County is 11.9%. That doesn't take into effect those workers that gave up looking for work. Imperial County is 29%!

Here is NC, we own a home there that we have to rent, because we can't sell, thus, their stats matter a lot to me.

444,694 unemployed

Median income has fallen 3,223

325,673 more people fell into poverty

5.2% health insurance premium hike.

Off to dig up VA stats.

7.2% statewide in July for Texas.

I can't recall if Perry ever took all the stimulus cash or not. That he got beaten for refusing at least the portions that came with long-term strings isn't in doubt, remember that, but not whether he ever caved. I doubt it though, because the beating would have been twice as energetic, the kind they save for republicans caught doing something blatantly hypocritical.

I'll guess the late '11 downturn in unemployment may be related to the Eagleford Shale development but haven't dug deep enough to say for sure.
