I went to a game yesterday locally at the Rose Bowl - expensive for tickets, parking, hassle for shuttle busses, 5 bucks for a water, don't even ask how much a hot dog costs!
Add in too many people, bench seats packed in like sardines and nearly 100 degree weather.
It surprises me that there are sell out crowds. What a gigantic hassle! Will be watching games on tv from now on.
The Big 10 is going to do terribly this year. Michigan BARELY squeaked out a win over the Air Force. MSU has a great defense and ONE great offensive player. Maybe OSU will be decent. The rest, eh.
I just.. sigh.
That wasn't what the thread was about, just felt like throwing that out there. lol.
what is always amazing to me is that UO and OSU can put close to 120,000 in their stadiums. Oregon has a population of ~3.871mil; That's 3% of the state attending the games and the schools are just 40miles apart. That's 30k extra cars on I-5 and probably another 10K more on US/CA/OR/WA-99. That's alot of extra cars on just 110miles on either one of these two roads.
