We want jobs.

Dems may say that. They may even believe it. But their policies achieve the opposite.

There's plenty of grist for the crazies in this.

That the ATF provided guns to criminals in Mexico, criminals they didn't bother to track.

That US firearms being the driver of Mexico's civil war has been a narrative pushed by Second amendment foes for quite a while now, which makes the above an astonishing fact indeed.

That Holder seems to have been having a Pelosi episode when he told congress the Bush AG, Mukasey, was briefed on F&F -- was simply talking out of his bum, as the Justice Department clarified yesterday.

That all facts aside, executive privilege claims always reek of cover-up.

I dont't think there is anyone who compares with Nancy when it comes to pure BS.  She has a rare talent for it.  I wonder if she thinks it up herself or has a staff of entertainment writers at her disposal.

I could not tear myself away from CSpan today.  It reminds me so much of the summer before the Nixon/McGovern election. Only the crazies thought there was anything to the Watergate thing (I voted McGovern).

Save our country a lot of grief:  Vote for Mitt !!!

.... has chimed in on the Fast and Furious flap that looks so much like past Republican scandals. Lucidly too, past performances considered.

“I could have arrested Karl Rove on any given day,” Pelosi said on Wednesday, The Huffington Post reports. “I’m not kidding. There’s a prison here in the Capitol. If we had spotted him in the Capitol, we could have arrested him.

It’s just the irresponsibility of the Republicans,” Pelosi said. “We want jobs. Why are they spending this time doing this?
I foresee a campaign ad, with the last one repeating throughout while the timeline of obamare's passage drips down the screen.
