I never understood the fuss about that book.

I did read "In the Night Kitchen" to my kids very often, though. I even had a poster of it in ouir laundry room

I never noticed the lack of clothing at the time, which is apparently a big deal. Strange.

 

STir it, scrape it, make it, bake it!!!

The children's author, Maurice Sendak,  just passed away.  His book "Where the Wild Things Are" is a classic children's book.  I have to say, it scared the crap out of me when I was 5 or 6!

Christopher Walken just narrated the book and added his own creepy awesome twist to it:
