Doing jumping jacks and changing outfits does take a toll on one.

I don't believe much of what Malia Zimmerman has to say so I doubt those vacation cost numbers are even in the ballpark, but I hope the Obamas have a wonderful and relaxing vacaion. They deserve it.

Hawaii is nice.smile

The possibilities for Secret Service agents:

Front elephant Romney has Boston, Utah, and Detroit.

Close on the lead's tail is Gingrich, who has the Capitol and Georgia's outer banks.

Chased by the perienal Ron Paul who has West Texas and also DC.

And far behind in jocking for 4th is Perry claiming Central Texas.

Bachmann having the cold Minnesota to herself.

Santorium with Pennsylvannia coal fields.

Huntsman for Utah and where he can vacation with Romney.

Speaking of Barack- http://www.hawaiireporter.com/with-more-vacation-days-and-separate-travel-price-of-obama%E2%80%99s-annual-hawaiian-holiday-rises/123/comment-page-5#comments

And as millions of people are barely getting by,  the 'Chicago Hillbillies' will fly separately, take friends and an armada of vehicles, hotel rooms, etc... all on us.  Aren't we generous? Good to know they pay their own housing, we only get stuck ~ 4mil. Since he took ofice, they remind me of people who didn't have a nickel to their name, then won the lottery and go crazy.

Say what you will about GWB being at his ranch for days on end, the tab was no where near what the Obama's has been for all his/her personal on the tax payer travel.

Is it 2012 yet?

"...shouldn't there have beem a little nod to the fact that he's been in charge for several years?"

The man is truly delusional is all. Not that the msm cares to mention it. hmm Nor do they mention how he was glued to the teleprompter, his mispronunciation of the very words he was reading, his reference to Texas instead of Kansas, or the demagoguery buried among the "bipartisanship" and "civility" (lol):

According to Obama, Republicans believe- quote - "we are better off when everyone is left to fend for themselves and play by their own rules."

Truly offensive.

That house of cards has been happening in Washington for a while, too.

15 trillion isn't chump change.

It's hard to determine who he is, or where he's going, with this:

But for most Americans, the basic bargain that made this country great has eroded," Obama said. "Long before the recession hit, hard work stopped paying off for too many people. Fewer and fewer of the folks who contributed to the success of our economy actually benefitted from that success. Those at the very top grew wealthier from their incomes and investments than ever before. But everyone else struggled with the costs that were growing and paychecks that weren't -- and too many families found themselves racking up more and more debt just to keep up.

For many years, credit cards and home equity loans papered over the hard realities of this new economy," Obama said. "But in 2008, the house of cards collapsed.

Got the class envy thing and that it all crashed while George was still in charge but shouldn't there have beem a little nod to the fact that he's been in charge for several years?

You wouldn't want him to distract anyone from the R/TP/Libertarian nomination race.? W had texas and Maine. O has Chicago and Hawaii. BC never a real home until Hilary ran for the Senate.

First he was Lincoln (healing the racial divide), then he was FDR (saving the country from economic catastrophe), and today he's Teddy R.  Man, he deserves that 17 Hawaiian vacation he has coming up!!  :roll eyes:
