I have absolutely no opinion of him. I said that was the consensus.

He's at my U speaking right now. General consensus according to facebook: nice, but off his rocker. He definitely draws a crowd though and a very large percentage of those listening to him are most definitely not college students.

Probably because he has osteoporosis and he has a kyphosis (hunched back) on his back. Nothing can lay flat if you are hunched.

Why the heck can't Ron Paul get a jacket that sits properly on his back? In the last two debates, there is a wide gap between his shirt collar and his coat. It looks stupid.

I cannot understand any R voting for Paul. Paul has no chance of winning against Obama, and so for me the only reason I can even begin to assume is that it was an anti-Romney vote when they voted for Paul. Either way it accomplished nothing except for Paul living in la-la land that he actually has a chance of sitting in the oval office come Jan. 2013.

Paul and Huntsman have the same message. Together they can be a formitable force against Mitt. Nice speech that Huntsman made at the NH count.

Paul's position on Iran is just plain nuts. Taking a hands off approach regarding a terrorist nation is simply suicide.

He was on, CNN- Piers Morgan, 01/04/12.

Interesting. About as solid mainstream Republican as you can get. evileye

I  remember that GWB/R's 1999 platform of limited foreign involvement. They were against BC's involvement in the former Yugoslavia, and fementely against, "nation forming." So is RP espousing what was mainstream R 1999 thinking or is this something new to  this, Grand OLD Party?

I enjoy Ron Paul's economic ideas, but his foreign policy plans are disastrous.

Paul has a snow ball's chance in Hades becoming the next President. Sorry to say this, but I see the 2012 election like I saw the 1994 election with Dole and Clinton, Obama with this field of candidates will be re-elected regardless of anything. None of the R's have the ability to overcome the media blast when they become number 1, except Romney. The problem with Romney is the R's aren't behind him and he can't surpass 25%.

Still hoping my guy gets to be the next one for that spot...Huntsman. I think he has the ability to survive what became the downfall for others. His problem is he can't get media traction.

However, I have a sinking feeling Santorum will be the next one on the top contender list.

I don't get how anyone can support Paul after this week and I didn't know that was in my newsletters.

Paul is popular with Students.

Pull back foreign policy-we have too many problems at home and borders.

Gold Standard-force fiscal responsibilty on the people who spend and control money-MOC and Financial Institutions

Kill the Patriot Act-currently Patriot Act subordinates Constitution.

Trouble is he is 76.

evileye

I voted for him in his last primary run. I don't subscribe to everything he says but he's been truer and hasn't invoke  the God card, yet.

Which media is that?

Leftest or Rightest.

Why should the Media say something now, when the running field already have so much to write about. evileye

I am kind of surprised that the media has not run any stories about the newsletter Paul used to send out. It contained blatantly racist comments.

Ron is coming up, tied with Newt in second, behind Mitt by a length. - or perhaps Mitt and Newt are a bit winded and RP is just maintaining a steady stride.??.
