Andrew Sullivan STILL hasn't given up on that one.  I've actually met him a couple of times and liked him. Was always a fan and I hate to say this, but his obsession with Palin's reproductive organs feeds into some ugly stereotypes about vagina envy.  He just will not crawl out of there.  It's beyond enough now.  I don't know how any sane person could think that Bristol Palin could have given birth to two good-sized babies within the space of 8 months.  Yet he does.

Hope, you didn't miss the great lengths the MSM went to vet PBO.   disbelief  During campaign '08, the MSM was all consumed trying to find out if Sarah Palin actually gave birth to her son Trig and dumpster diving in AK!!  People who actually pay attention to current events, know vetting of PBO never took place.  Bill Ayers?  Tony Resko?  Nah, just guys in the neighborhood, no need to explore those connections.  Shiny object!!! OMG, Sarah Palin's daughter is pregnant!!!!

Hence, we're stuck with a community organizer/inexperienced president. But as you wisely stated, the media is now interested in the religion of some candidates.

What they are attempting to do is disgusting. Pure and simple. Most people get that, which is why Evangelicals, in a recent poll, were shown to still prefer Romney over Obama, despite the media attempting to stir the pot. It's dirty stuff.

Can I have some links to discussions of David Axelrod's and David Plouffe's private emails?  blankstare

Why all the wrath at  the "journalists" who are reporting what Rick Perry's people are telling them.   That's their job.

I am so grateful for this past weekend's New York Times dissection of Romney's role (going back forty years) in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints!  I'm also thankful for Anderson Cooper's thoughtful analysis enlightening us as to what exactly Mormonism is all about. But most importantly, I'm thankful for all the "journalists" who can't seem to go three days without a story about how Evangelicals won't vote for Romney because they believe "he's not really Christian," and Mormonism is a cult!

I mean, I never knew the unbiased media took such a huge interest in religion! I guess I missed their in-depth analyses of the Rev. Wright's Black Liberation Theology. I'm sure there were many such pieces analyzing Obama's role in that church, and that I just missed them. hmm
