Buffett also indicated he was not in favor of Obama's plan to end favorable tax treatment for corporate jet owners. Buffett owns a corporate jet business. His position seems a little hypocritical to me.
Since it can't be that he's a posturing hypocrite, it must be that his definition of rich is more nuanced than the administration and it's media realizes.
