Welcome hope! And thanks for posting here..............you remind me why I don't visit College *Crapodential* anymore, for any reason. Some of those folks need to step out in the sunshine and leave their basements and the 'internets' <yeah, PBO said it!> behind!
You know, it felt so good to be able to speak my mind without fear of reprisal from cloaked moderators and/or their buddies I will make it a point to do that!
I was banned years ago after having had the nerve to talk back to snoozie in a pm after having been issued a warning. This was years ago now. I suppose it saved me a lot of grief overall, but I sometimes feel sad I can't share the knowlege I have gained about certain college issues with posters who were kind/helpful to me way back when. My H and I put one son through Penn State, and we have one at Penn now. I suppose when the younger one is finished my occasional lurking at CC will come to an end all together.
When the Casey Anthony story dies down, I will probably be back to politics (as usual) and I will definitely post on this site. Thanks!
The good news is that you have a forum to speak your mind, hope. Unfortunately, we don't have enough active voices here. Invite some of your friends. Post topics.
It is the eternal question that we have tried to answer in countless threads, but I think some mysteries are simply impossible to answer. CC remains so for many of the long time or banned posters.
Anyone reading? How curious to watch snoozievt posting hundreds of posts about truth and justice while posting under false pretenses to begin with (is actually a mod and a vindictive, petty one at that). Today's response to xslacker just slayed me: "I could report you but have chosen not to." One sick puppy.
Thanks to poetgrl and 07Dad, musicparent, and mini and just a few others who have the courage to post in opposition the mob mentality of that thread. Why do people feel the need to coddle snoozie? I don't get it. She didn't even express condolences to xslacker when he talked about the death of his child. Yet he still ends up apologizing to her.
