Whoopi raised the inevitable counter to the argument but was satisfied with the notion that the gender differences between Ingram aren't as important as the fact they're both talk sluts -- no need for Schultz to be a woman with a bad haircut at all.
Good one, cat! I hadn't heard about all this, but I'm going to have to find it now. I don't think women call each other "sluts" as terms of endearment. Then again, maybe it's a press thing. Most of them are all whores of the limelight, will say or do anything for attention. Though not all of em.
I didn't bother listening to anything after Barbara confessed Joy's called her a slut before, Poet, mainly because I too busy laughing at the "it's a term of endearment when used between sluts" idea but yeah, I'd say they did.
I may go back and find it though -- I want to hear them say that, truth be told, Schultz is really just a cross-dressing slut so it was all in good fun.
You'd have to be pretty dim witted not to realize that MSNBC "tilts" left as far as FOX tilts right. Heck, its pundits proudly proclaim their left allegiance on a regular basis.
I don't generally watch The Ed Show or listen to his radio broadcasts (he does indeed get on your nerves), so I didn't know about this latest dust up until I tuned into another show and heard the host report with no uncertain amount of relish that Shultz was in deep for calling Laura Ingraham "The S-word." I scowled and thought, "S-word?", then gasped when it dawned on me. Wow, Ed---that was stupid!
Last night, I watched his "heart-felt" apology before turning back to CNN (which doesn't seem interested in reporting on much of anything other than the Joplin tornado). He's lucky he only got suspended for a week. I understand why Ingraham pushes your buttons man but, good grief, get a hold of yourself!
It's actually a smart move on his part because nobody knows him and most who watch him can't stand him. He is getting attention for being controversial (as well as being a jackass).

MSNBC just suspended him for a week without pay because he called Laura Ingrahm a slut!
Supposedly he has been reprimanded 2x before regarding his comments, one was cursing out MSNBC for not letting him be on the air election night and the other for calling Christie names on air too.
I love how he attacks organizations for being slanted (always saying Fair and Balanced with a dig), but he calls a right wing talk show host a slut, and thinks he is not slanted? Or he calls a R gov a fat cold hearted slob, but doesn't realize that is slanted?
Heck when he gets a women's organization who hates Ingraham to come out and reprimand him, you know he passed the line.
