It should be obvious to all that Brand Obama doesn't actually believe in anything, not even basic liberal ideals- all it believes in is making sure the titular head does not look bad so he can ride a theoretical decent economy in 2012 to reelection. He didn't believe in universal health care or raising taxes on the rich- he just believes in sitting there and taking no initiative on anything.

It is almost as if they take the new President into a secret room and say: "Yes you are the President. But this is what you have to do, this is what you must not do, this is what you cannot do, and you can have some very limited options about these few things."
