W and grandma just returned from Seattle. Visiting DS while he is unemployed. W discovered that we, 200 miles south, is about a week behind Seattle. Our peas are only an inch high vs Seattle's 6 inches +.

It's going to be a challenging growing season. I think we lost our plums, and it's not looking good for the blueberries, apples, pears which are in bloom but no bees cause of the cold weather. We barely made 60 today. with no blue sky today and through Mom's day.

Ha!! That is so accurate! Hilarious! Except summer doesn't start in May, more like July (if we're lucky). Okay, it's not that bad, it's just been a long winter. And our furnace has been broken, they've come out 5 times and it's still not fixed.

But on the bright side, it's not raining right now (though the sun isn't out). Time to go out and run, better leave quickly before the rain starts!
