I watched it... it was bright, that's for sure, but from where I was it honestly didn't look much bigger than a normal harvest moon. I didn't understand the hype. :/
How unfortunate that the 2 clouds you have once a year obstructed your view. Oh well, it could have been for the best. You never know what werewolf-like qualities lie beneath the surface.
