Yes, but the US is now reliant on other coutries in order to get there.....note that Russia raised the price of taking US astronuats up there by 21% the day the last shuttle was put to rest. What a great idea. I wonder what kind of priority fixing OUR satelites will take when we need a lift.

I wouldn't want to eat any Pacific seafood for a couple of million years.

Obama requests US and World N reactors that are near Fault Zones to shutdown. CA PGE Diablo Canyon says that they are currently in process to an orderly shutdown. Lobbists-MOC and Constitutionalists are saying Obama is overstepping his authority.

Hmm... not that hard to believe.

While painting BP as the party at fault for the Gulf blowout, they shut down not only everyone else in deepwater but damn near stopped anything on the shelf, too.

A possible Scenario:
Hopefully, Pres Obama, US Military, and US-Global N Industry and Supporting Industries were prepared to move. Now moving but not fast enough.

Sunday, Obama alerts Military and US companies to start mobilization. Emergency Basis code 2. (Saturday initial mobilization, code 3 moving to code 2.)
Monday, Code is move to code 1, full mobilization, and first equipment lifting-off for Japan. Personnel should have left on Sunday nite if not sooner.
Tuesday, More equipment is being gathered, some robotic vehicles and devices being loaded, but not enough. US Military sites staging areas in Japan.
Wednesday, or Tuesday nite, Wednesday afternoon at latest, Pres Obama announces World Environment Emergency, requests US Congress and UN authorization.
