It is terrible the southern border is a political issue, when it is obvious to everyone with a brain that the US government needs to control entry into the country.
While I hope that the smuggling pipeline isn't being used by terrorists, never say never.
I doubt you could find anyone in the intel community that isn't wildly concerned about this as a point of entry for terrorists, or ones that are sympathetic to the cause or for their own reasons.

Well, if there is truly "no evidence" that this pipeline is being used by terrorists, it's undoubtedly because no evidence is being sought. Our easily breached southern border is one of our greatest and most obvious vulnerabilities. I hazard to quess that there are any number of potential terrorists who are "sleeping" within our borders, waiting for just the right opportunity.
