If we enclose Congress in plexiglass,
do they get a ventilation system?

Perhaps we could limit debate and bill length by only allowing what can be discussed, written, and voted on within one non-renewable filling of the "bubble".

Unfortunately, I think that he has a good point because the Supreme Court is making sure our citizens have the ability to be very well armed.  Politicians have a right to be alarmed.  Given the number of presidents, and the number that have been killed or wouded in office, the presidency is clearly the most dangerous job in America by far.  Now, congress is looking much more vulnerable.

Burton has introduced similar legislation in the past. It reads in part, "The Architect of the Capitol shall enclose the visitors' galleries of the House of Representatives with a transparent and substantial material, and shall install equipment so that the proceedings on the floor of the House of Representatives will be clearly audible in the galleries."

you know, to keep the lower classes away from the honorable political elite.
