I can't decide whether to root for the Steelers with their rapist quarterback or for the Packers without their former quaterback Brett Favre. Maybe a tie would be nice!

Cartera...so true.

One of the most amazing plays I have ever seen in pro sports.

I don't watch sports but I hear about them a lot.  From what I hear the Red Sox are going to be unstoppable this year.  A lot of Yankee haters are going to be pretty happy.

Yes, the Ravens choked. However, that game had one of the most memorable plays ever - when everyone stood around looking at the ball, not realizing it was a fumble until a Raven's player picked up the ball and ran it in. Loved the looks on the Steelers' faces. Harbaugh has done an incredible job with that team.

Ray Lewis would use most of the posters on this board as a tooth-pick.

I'm a big Ravens fan. They threw that game away. Sucks.

It was a terrible loss for the patriots.  Living and working in CT not far from the NY border, I have to listen to all kinds of stuff.  Fortunately though, I am a Yankees fan.

My Patriots lost.  If Crumpler didn't drop that sure touchdown or if Brady didn't throw that interception in the red zone then I think the entire complexion of the game would have changed and they would have won.  But I have to be philosophical about it (what else CAN I do?) because they have won games, too, when similar unfortunate things happened to the other team.  It's a live by the sword, die by the sword kind of thing that is part of the nature of sports that hurts the most when it happens in the playoffs.

Still, being a Bills, Bengals, Broncos, or Panthers fan would REALLY suck.

I'll be rooting for the Steelers because of Mike Tomlin. We William and Mary grads don't have very many sports luminaries.

I am not a fan of the Jets or the Steelers, but because of Roethlisberger I will be on the Jets side.

FWIW I don't like the Jets either because I think Ryan would protect players like Roethlisberger just for the sake of winning!

My husband just went to bed early so that he doesn't have to think about the Patriots loss.

You may see Ryan shut his yap yet.  But you'll have to see it in the second half, because the first half sure didn't do it.

Edited to read:  But you'll have to see it in the game against the Steelers !!

Has anyone been following the New York Jet's coach's foot problem? I thought he was an odd person before the scandal but now his weirdness all makes sense.

An edit of Wes Welker's responses to football-related questions at a recent press conference.

The Eagles offense was effectively neutered...

Vick had the Packers "nipping at his heels."  He found that they weren't just "all bark and no bite."  When asked to comment on the loss, he said, "it's a bitch."

Don't despair ImSoAnarchist.

Remember the mantra of the disappointed NFL fan; "Wait till next year!"

This from a long time Falcons fan. We wait decades.

The only thing Ray Lewis works hard at is telling everyone how hard he works. Or should I say yelling about how hard he works. I have not heard Colt McCoy on TV that much. Maybe he knows he talks funny and avoids yelling at everyone on TV.

The playoffs are going exactly as I hoped - including the Colts losing.  As a Pats fan, I'd much rather have them play the Jets.

Nothing wrong with the way Ray Lewis talks and there's not any harder working player in the NFL.  Colt McCoy's accent is so strong, he's barely understandable but I don't hear too many people complaining.

I don't care who wins- but I'm going to cheer for the Seahawks. I have the Lions, so I'm used to rooting for teams that everyone rules out :). Plus I love a good underdog story.

Colts just upset by the Jets. Very exciting last quarter.  I'm just hoping this all paves the way for the Ravens but it's more likely doing so for New England.

That was one heck of a run for a touchdown by the Seahawks player.

Seahawks beat the Saints?  Are you kidding me?

Who wins the Super Bowl?
