People amaze me sometimes...

In other news, apparently this has now happened in Sweden and Chile, too. I suppose God is punishing them as well?

Birds today just can't catch a break.

"A vulture tagged by scientists at Tel Aviv University has strayed into Saudi Arabian territory, where it was promptly arrested on suspicion of being a Mossad spy, Israeli and Saudi media reported Tuesday."

We've had our own personal bird kill. Within the last two months, two birds have flown into our foyer window and died (at least that's how I think they ended up dead on our front stoop). A couple of weeks ago, when we had snow, I saw the tail end of a cardinal sticking up from the snow outside our front window. I first thought it was a red bow from our Christmas wreath. We've lived in this house 11 years, and those are our first bird deaths. :(

It takes time and costs money (or goats or big fancy carved rocks or whatever they used for exchange) to calculate and record a calendar.

Maybe their calendar ends in 2012 because that is as far as they got before the king or high priest or whatever pulled their funding.

If Democrats had been in charge the Mayan calendar would have gone to 8,953 AD.

If Republicans, the world would have ended in 1012 AD.

Non-Christian end-time predictions are, against all odds, way cool!!!

Thanks for sharing that SL.

The end-time Climate Changlings should bring back the "Obama-Girl" to sex things up a bit...their whole doom-gloom-n-tax shtick is so yesterday...like this 2012 chick, snappy and perky. Hell, I watched the whole thing.

End-times due to Armagedon or to Climate-change?  smile

Having lived as long as I have it is easy to get all these end-timers confused...

Now it's in Louisiana.

http://www.aolnews.com/2011/01/04/500-more-redwing-blackbirds-found-dead-in-louisiana/?icid=maing|main5|dl1|sec1_lnk5|34503

This is just strange...

ETA: I know that born-again Christian/actor Kirk Cameron was on CNN last night and I think he was going to say that it was an end of times prediction. I wanted to catch it but I forgot about it. Anyone manage to catch it?

We've been shooting off fireworks for centuries... has anyone ever heard of 1,000 birds dropping dead?

I swear sometimes "scientists" think we're complete idiots.

Everyone knows the truth. It's da end of ze world!!!

No they said it was fireworks from New Years Eve.

I have to say it was a little freaky to hear about 1000 birds falling from the sky.
