Seems more cognitive dissonance than whining.

In that piece, there isn't a single nod to the fact an election just took place, one that saw democrat's numbers in the senate reduced in spite of their not moving out all the things the left feels were gimmes.

The next time you hear someone on the left complain about everything that Obama hasn’t done please take a moment to remind them that most of Obama’s agenda is currently languishing in the US Senate. The Senate has never approved funding for the relocation of detainees and the closure of GITMO. The Senate has stalled every clean energy bill. The Senate has been sitting on DADT. It was the Senate that killed the public option during the healthcare debate.

Other than the desire to be re-elected, nothing was stopping these guys and girls from making the world a better place.

Since Senate Republicans decided to filibuster every single piece of legislation. Now a minority of 41 Senators has control.

Since when has the minority ever had control? Have the republicans used legislative means to control as much as they can? Yes. At the end of the day the dems still have the majority. They managed to get Obamacare passed...
